Hello everyone, very long time no chat to... So here is my current update:
As for the last several months nothing has really changed since my shoulder injury except I found out about 15 weeks ago that I am going to be a father again!! I know, right, I can't believe it either but my wife, Stephanie, is starting to show!!
On the house and family side of things we are all sick here, nothing too bad but it has gone around to everyone from me to my roommates (I will get to that later) and even the little guy got it. The dogs are good, cats are adjusting to the newest roommates dog but otherwise doing just fine. The house is still holding up just fine, my mother in laws room has been transformed into another room for my other roommate Jeremy.
Okay, as to the roommates, cause I know that's really why your still reading, we have added Jeremy as of about a month ago. He is one of my classmates and turning into a pretty good friend. He is single, at the moment, 38 and just a cool guy. The other roomie is Christine. She is our current babysitter and she just broke up with her BF so she needed a place to stay. Can we put two and two together yet?? LOL....
So the main reason for my update is really to vent about the roommates... Surprise!!! They are something else when together, she doesn't want a relationship but continues to throw herself at Jeremy when "in the mood" yet pushes him away when she is not. Jeremy on the other hand is pouring out money to do things with her to "keep a chance" with her... Ahhhhhhh!!!!!! Whhhhyyyyy!!!!! Anywho, with everything going on and knowing things from Christine but being the confidante and not saying anything to Jeremy I know this will not go well... Unless she is tipsy then he will get lucky, lol. Just pay me rent and leave it be as you have a single roomie, don't mess it up.
As for the wife and I, we are great! The marriage is solid and we can't wait for the new baby (which we aren't finding out the sex) and school to be over so I can start my career. Speaking of school I have a quiz in the afternoon and a dr. appointment in the morning so I gotta bounce, later!

Updates!!!
Hello all!!
I am so sorry that I haven't been up to date on my blog but my life has been EXTREMELY busy... School has been amazing with clinical sessions at Providence Portland (crappy RT/student relations), Providence St. V's (better relations), and Salem medical center (AMAZING!). I have been seeing a lot and doing even more though they won't let me tell you exactly what due to HIPAA violations and what not but take my word for it, I have been sweating my ass off.
My shoulder never stopped hurting from my previous injury earlier this summer so I finally had to go and get a cortisone shot and look at that, it didn't help... Figures.
The biggest news since my last post was just a few days ago when my wife told me that we are pregnant yet again!!!! Holy shit!!! I am actually very excited and can't wait for the new little guy to get here. I say guy because, well, it will be. I hope for a girl but it just won't happen. :(
Anywho, all of you have a great day and enjoy it!! Love all around...

Updates all around!
Hello all, glad your here to enjoy my wonderful life and my adventures in it as well. The last week has been so eventful that I haven't even posted till now! I gotcha on the edge of your computer chair now don't I?
Ok so Monday was a very long day, my first day of clinical at Willamette Falls and what do I get at 5 in the morning? A txt from the wife telling me that the babysitter (co-worker) was in the ER and that I now have to bring the kido to work so she can watch him at the same time she is dealing with patients. WTF! It went off very well and no foul done but clinical was something else.
Clinical was supposed to be a very laid back day just like the other sites except that my former program director is now the head RT and our site director. Little is to be said but we were thrown right into the thicknof things and were quizzed all day long. The only real orientation we got was the 10 minute run down of The code system. It was a freaking blast though!
Tuesday was more of the same but with more hands on in clinical and actually having a babysitter (Christine) that came by the house to watch Aidan.
Now by Wednesday things get really fun not only due to the complete lack of sleep by Stephanie and I but also because I had an appointment with the ortho about my should and the pain. He said that the tears in my rotator cuff and lebrum were not big enough to harm me and that PT would help strengthen everything else. This means NO SURGERY!!! YEAH!!
Speaking about Stephanie, she has been just plain amazing this last week with her working nights and myself at school or clinical during the day! I love you sweety!
Anywho, nothing really exciting came about till Friday when just before I was to leave for home from clinical we had a code called and I got to see how it's done before I left, it was sweet!!
The weekend has been great, two beautiful, hot summer days spent with the family. We mowed the yards, put up a new swimming pool for Aidan (which he loved) and took a couple drives around the outskirts of town. Now relaxing with the wife before bed and another week like the one. I love you Stephanie! Good night all!

A beautiful day... Inside?
What a beautiful day in Portland, OR! This day is exactly what everyone needed. People outside mowing the lawn, playing in the park, going to the Rose Festival, and the smell of BBQ outside is delish! Why am I inside then?
Stephanie has to work all weekend so that means she is going to be sleeping during the daytime hours and Aidan and I are trying to figure out what we can do. Now, I don't hate the weekends like this when Steph works but this one is sort of rubbing me the wrong way. I love that she is sacrificing so much so that I can go to school but sometimes I wish she didn't have to.
Aidan and I tried going to see the Naval ships that came in yesterday but having it been the ONLY sunny day so far of the Rose Festival EVERYONE came out as well so it turned out to be a waste of a trip cause there was no way I would of completed that trip by myself. I would love to get the lawn mowed but I need someone to watch Aidan while I do it as well maybe wash the cars but I need Aidan watched which won't happen till after 4 or 5 in which Steph will be up but then we have to get dinner going and she has to get ready for work.
We tried the local park but that place was packed as well and couldn't even find a parking spot. WTF! And now I seem to have the grumpiest child alive who won't take a nap, eat anything, and just wants to cry... If only I had a backyard (another blog for that one).
Anyways, thanks for listening to a father vent about his beautiful day inside. I really do love you Stephanie and I REALLY do appreciate your sacrifice.

Sidelined?
Well I got my magical MRI results back today and boy oh boy were they just somethan!
It turns out that one of my earlier times injuring this shoulder I seem to have almost killed it and when I pulled on the lawn mower to start it I did kill it. The MRI showed that I partially tore my rotator cuff, my labrum, and it was an AC seperation, not a dislocation which for some reason there is something different about the two.
Anyways, the PA said that she wants me to go through PT for four weeks and then see an ortho about it due to the concern she has. She also stated that I might need surgery to really fix anything else. Oh boy!
Well I will update all of you with my school and work functions due to this when the time comes around but until I see the the ortho after four weeks of PT this is good night. I love you stephanie!

My week off is over...
Well it's been such an amazing 12 days off from school and it was muchly deserved and needed! It started with a big surprise of passing my respiratory class with an 87% and has ended with a great evening of take & bake pizza and some boob toob with the wife and kido.
Over this last weekend we had stephanie's mom and sister over, went on a date night ( see other post), watched the kid all week ( Stephanie worked Monday thru Thursday), and playing video games. Oh yeah, I didn't work either.
Now tomorrow isn't going to be anything difficult, we have a 3 hour class at 1 and then it's back home and 3 hour classes all week, then next week will be clinical Monday, Tuesday, and Friday with all being 12 hour shifts. Wednesday and Thursday are classroom days again at 3 hours.
Well pizza is about done and I have a beautiful wife and little boy looking me to get up and check it so I am off, hope everyone has had a great and safe holiday weekend. I love you stephanie.

Date night!
Yeah, Stephanie and I got a date night with close friends Justin and Amanda, which got a date night as well from their kido, lol. We all had a great night!
It all started at Mcgrath's Fish House in Vancouver which turned out to be even better than expected due to Justin's connection from working there for so long, we only paid for our drinks and they comp'ed our dinners and we only paid 20 bucks per couple!
We then ended te night with a crappy showing of Iron Man 2 cause we had to sit in the front row cause of over stay at dinner. The movie was pretty good but due to my geek background I found several flaws in the Iron Man history, which I won't bore you with today. With all of the action and loud sounds Justin took advantage of his couple hours away from the kid and he fell asleep, lol.
All in all the night was fantastic, great food, amazing friends, good movie, and an excellent time with my amazing wife! I love you Stephanie!

Like father like son
So I told you all about my injury, what happened, and the MRI I had to go through. Well now it's aidan's turn.
He has been "limping" for about a week now and it looks like something hurts but nothing seems to bother this kid! LOL! We are hoping that it's nothing too serious.
UPDATE: after the doctor visit!
Well after a throat swab and an xray of his hip they think he has a viral infection in his hip. It should get better on it's own. So for now we are just watching it and giving him ibuprofen.

MRI anyone?
Okay, so let's go back in time a few weeks so I can explain what happened. I was mowing our back yard, or at least trying to, which was about three feet tall. While I was pulling on the pull string it got caught and I kept pulling, actually to make a long story short I partially pulled my arm out of the socket.
After seeing the PA she told me that I might have torn something in my shoulder since it still hurt about two weeks later. She also said it could be my rotator cuff, which would mean instant surgery and for me that would mean possible loss of schooling, no work what so ever, and a huge handicap around the house especially with my son since he still wants daddy to "up".
The MRI is tomorrow morning so I better get to bed and somehow find some sleep. Don't forget to check out the love for ethiopia blog I follow cause they could really use the help with trying to adopt a child, they are amazing people and the blog should point you all in the right direction.

Second blog!!
So the first blog isn't work out well from my iPhone web browser, surprise! I think not... So I had to download an app to make this all work and here we are.
Anywho, these gloomy days are starting to chain together in ways that make it seem like each day never really ends, just a glimps of sun or even blue sky would make a difference. On the positive side I have had this entire week off from school and been able to spend some real quality time with my son, Aidan. He is such a little man and only being 17 months old it's just amazing how he is growing up.
I will have more about me and my family a little later, I have to go change a diaper, lol... Before I go though I want to always end my blogs by telling my wonderful wife Stephanie that I love her! I love you Stephanie!
Later!
